Das Engwe EP-2 Pro ist ein faltbares E-Bike mit breiten 4-Zoll-Reifen und einem 750-Watt-Heckmotor, der ein Drehmoment von 55 Nm liefert. Der herausnehmbare 624-Wh-Akku ermöglicht eine Reichweite von bis zu 100 km im Unterstützungsmodus, wobei realistischere Werte bei etwa 60 km liegen dürften. Das Bike verfügt über eine 7-Gang-Schaltung, mechanische Scheibenbremsen und eine Federgabel mit Lockout-Funktion. Ein Rücklicht mit Bremslichtfunktion, gespeist vom Hauptakku, ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Faltmechanismus ist stabil gestaltet, jedoch bleibt das Bike im gefalteten Zustand nicht von selbst stehen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität weist kleinere Mängel auf, wie z. B. eine schief angeschweißte Querstrebe. Zudem entspricht das EP-2 Pro aufgrund der Motorleistung und des verbauten Gasgriffs nicht den deutschen Pedelec-Vorschriften und ist somit nicht für den öffentlichen Straßenverkehr zugelassen. Insgesamt bietet das Engwe EP-2 Pro für einen Preis von 999 Euro ein kräftiges E-Bike mit vielseitigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten, jedoch mit einigen Abstrichen in der Verarbeitung und Straßenzulassung.
